The Whitburn Reset

Restoring Order Through Design

What began as an overwhelmed and underutilised space has been redefined into a functional, accessible environment designed for everyday ease.

The Challenge

• Space lacked structure
• Storage was inconsistent
• Visual clutter created overwhelm
• Room lost its intended purpose

The Process

Declutter

Removal of non-essential items to create immediate clarity

Organisation

Items were grouped into clear categories (bedding, towels, clothing)

This allowed for structured packing and ensured the client could easily locate everything

Each box was labelled to support long-term organisation.

Layout

Once this section was established it was time to then move items around in order to place the boxes to one side so that we could then focus on pulling all items out to ensure we could see everything properly. By doing this it helped to eliminate any rubbish and discard of.

The space has been redefined into a clear, functional environment with improved accessibility and reduced visual clutter.

Client Impact

"This has completely changed how I use the space. Everything is now easy to access, and I finally feel in control of it again." â€‹

Next Phase:

This project continues as part of an ongoing transformation within the home, with further areas to be refined and restructured.
